Athletic Program Coordinator

Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Athletics Director, the Athletic Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting with all facets of the athletics programs and activities.

KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):
Referee games
Operate a safe and impactful Club environment for members daily
Cultivate strong relationships with Club members, staff members, and community
members
Maintain safe environments for members participating in programs and activities
Greet all parents daily and inform them of all program changes. Communicate frequently
with parents concerning their childs behavior, progress and socialization in the program.
Assist the Athletics Director with scheduling for athletic teams and community groups
Assist with planning and coordinating of athletic programs and activities
Schedule and coordinate seasonal athletics department sporting events as directed by
the Athletic Director
Assist the Athletics Director in exploring needs within our communities and expanding
the athletic programs
Daily maintenance and upkeep of facilities including bathrooms, locker rooms and gym
Assume other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director and Director of Operations

Athletic Program Coordinator

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge:
Ability to prioritize tasks and accomplish them in a detailed, timely manner
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with Club Members, peers,
parents, community leaders, etc.
Self-motivated, comfortable with both independent and collaborative processes
Willing to share their passion, skills and talent for athletics with youth
Ability to resolve conflict and potential crises as they arise.
Ability to communicate, direct and lead junior staff as well as adult staff
Ability to motivate, mentor, and assist in behavior change for members who are
experiencing behavioral issues as necessary
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

Additional Requirements:
CPR & First Aid (or ability to obtain)
Be able to stand for 5 hours at a time
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Be able to referee multiple sports 
19 years of age or older
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must be able to pass Drug Screening
