THE PURPOSE: To provide services include but are not limited to: individual therapy; group therapy; family therapy; in-home therapy; diagnostic assessments, other assessments or direct care services as trained or qualified. Maintain full caseload, equal to no less than 70% of time, allocated for psychotherapy and or other billable direct services.As part of the Child Advocacy Centers team, we have an additional purpose in providing specialized services to clients, seeking to process their trauma experiences. We encourage flexibility in different modalities of treatment such as individual, families, and child/adolescent services. We are looking for clinicians who are aligned with the mission and vision of Family & Children’s Center.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide psychotherapy that is empirically informed, theoretically grounded, culturally responsive, and relationally based.
- Focus on specialized trauma treatment for clients who have experienced trauma and who are ready to process their experiences.
- Provide a timely response to all current or prospective clients and provide referrals when necessary.
- Perform mental health assessments, identifying at-risk behaviors and develop appropriate treatment plan(s).
- Document all services in EHR within established organizational timelines.
- Build and maintain a caseload by meeting revenue targets.
- Work collaboratively with clients, external systems, colleagues, and operation staff, and in a culturally sensitive and appropriate manner.
- Collaborate with team members on complex clinical or shared cases as appropriate.
- Support organizational or administrative communication with clients.
OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Agency Participation:Participate in scheduled individual and/or group supervision, staff meetings, and other agency meetings, committees, or groups as requested. Perform community presentations or other outreach services as required.
- Demonstrate an ongoing investment in professional development.
- Adhere to confidentiality practices and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
