Group/Class: Group III, IV/Hourly, Non-Exempt

Reports to: Ski School Manager

Pay Range: $15.74 - $18.50/hr

Status: Part time, Seasonal

JOB SUMMARY: 

Provide excellent guest service through competency in helping a guest find the best product for them during our night ski openings.

 

 

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS:

  • Provide general mountain information to guests.

  • Competent with Microsoft Windows and Google Suite.

  • Assist customers with product selection.

  • Receiving and handling cash, credit or debit transactions.

  • Answer phone enquiries regarding skiing services.

  • Show initiative and follow-through on all routine and special work assignments.

  • Assist the Ski School Manager with special projects.

  • Provide support to the Ski School Rental Department.

  • Provide support for all Mission Ridge Departments when needed.

  • Sell all lesson products and packages to guests

  • Compile complete knowledge and understanding of all ski school products and effectively interview guests in order to guide them into the most viable lesson purchase.

  • Compile daily reports and account revenue daily.

  • Maintain a calm demeanor during times of high stress

  • Be a competent and willing team player

 

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent desired.

  • Money handling experience preferred.

  • Experience with Customer Service preferred.

  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Window applications.

  • Ski school experience or knowledge preferred

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Seeing:  Must be able to read reports and use computer.

Hearing:  Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with coworkers.

Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type, and use phone system.
