The Lunch Assistant is a consistent presence during the lunch periods in the ECE (our youngest children). He/she is responsible for ensuring an orderly transition to and from lunch and nap time. The position supports the operational side of the school and is an important part of our community with the goal of ensuring children have a safe and enjoyable lunch. Reporting to ECE Director.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Being on time to relieve the teachers for their lunch breaks.
• Helping children enjoy lunch time in a safe environment.
• Cleaning the classroom after lunch.
• Helping the children transition from lunch to nap time.
• Helping the children to fall asleep in a calm atmosphere.
• Helping the teachers as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Prior experience working with children a plus
• Timely and reliable
• Enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to work together with others.
• Organization skills a must.
• Open-minded.
• Ability to speak Mandarin, French or Spanish a plus, but not required.
• Must love kids

Salary and Benefits:
