Job Description

Do you play to win? At Firespring, sales is all about providing creative solutions to everyday marketing challenges. A leader in this position will connect prospects with solutions like website development, social media, search engine optimization, email marketing and conventional marketing tools. Above average listening skills, problem solving and sales acumen are required.  

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery phone calls and online meetings to understand the needs of prospects.
  • Prepare written proposals.
  • Provide sales pipeline forecasting, regular progress updates and sales effort successes.
  • Work closely with the entire sales and support team.
  • Be an active team participant in contributing new ideas.
  • Meet weekly activity goals.
  • Always seek a better way of doing things.
  • Occasional travel is required to attend events and trade shows. 

Qualifications

  • Persuasive, energetic and polite phone skills.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of people.
  • Having moxie sure wouldn’t hurt.
  • Adaptable.
  • Eager to learn about prospects and able to provide solutions to their challenges.
  • Strong overall communications skills with the ability to make clear, compelling sales presentations.
  • Comfortable with overcoming objections.
  • Consultative and or SaaS sales experience preferred.
  • Strong track record of exceeding performance goals.
  • Basic internet use (not programming) and computer experience required.
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, creative and independent—an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • While a formal education is helpful, passion and experience are more important.
