We are seeking a strong, highly experienced Cabin Server and Floater for our full-service FBO at Van Nuys airport and future FBO network. Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing the highest quality of service and amenities to all CLA clientele, including internal events and projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of cabin service on various aircraft while ensuring the safety and comfort of each aircraft passenger during the flight
• Prepare aircraft with fresh amenities, catering, and special requests
• Plan, order, shop, prepare and serve all meals and beverages
• Ensure the aircraft is clean, and ready for departure
• Maintain complete and detailed working knowledge of all service equipment and procedures of the aircraft on which he/she is assigned
• Conduct a pre-flight check of all cabin equipment prior to each flight
• Greet passengers and assist with their personal belongings
• Ensure passenger comfort and maintain cabin cleanliness.
• Brief and assist passengers with cabin management systems such as entertainment, high-speed data systems, and phone capabilities
• Participation in crew resource management
• Report any blemishes to PIC and Inflight Service Managers
• Coordinate with the crew if a detailed cleaning should be arranged
• Ensure aircraft dry-cleaning is processed, accounted for, and returned to the appropriate location
• Provide post-trip information via Inflight Survey upon flight completion
• Actively maintain communication with Inflight Services Management
• Maintain standard stock and organization of aircraft cabin, lavatory, and galley.
• Shop for necessary items, rotate and organize all amenities, prepare flower arrangements, fruit baskets, and all boarding snacks/baskets
• Assist in keeping all storage areas including aircraft lockers and cages organized and clean
• Attend and maintain currency in all aspects of required training, annual recurrent safety, medical and company Indoc training
• Review policies and procedures
• Submit trip paperwork in an appropriate timeframe
• Inventory aircraft as needed
• Knowledge of food safety handling
• Review and uphold policies and procedures
• Participate in Clay Lacy SMS program
• Other duties may be required, as needed

• Emergency training – certificate completed within the past 12 months to include the following:
• FACTS or Flight Safety
• CPR/ First Aid

• Valid passport
• Signing of Cabin Server Manual signature page following CLA Indoctrination training.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Requirements

• Must have and maintain a valid California Driver's License, restricted licenses are not valid for employment at Clay Lacy Aviation.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be available to be “on-call” unless on a hard scheduled day off.
• Covid-19 vaccination.
