Clay Lacy Aviation is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for our full-service FBO at Van Nuys airport. If you meet the minimum requirements and are goal-oriented, dedicated, proactive, and enjoy a customer-centric culture, we would be delighted to get to know you better.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct the discrepancies
  • Daily Fuel entries with weekly prices changes
  • Manual entry of payments and invoices in Great Plains
  • Reviewing bank statements, verifying payments and recognizing possible discrepancies
  • Disburse petty cash and record entry, verify documentation
  • Allocate invoices to proper general ledger accounts
  • Comprehend financial accounts and perform journal entries
  • Disburse mail, review invoices, and scan
  • Assist scanning checks, stuffing, and mailing
  • Communicate with vendors/employees on questions/concerns
  • Assists the Accounting department with any special projects
  • 1099 assistance
  • Assist in audits
Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

 

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of AP experience.
  • Advanced skills with MS Excel essential.
  • Experience with Great Plains/MS Dynamics is a strong plus.
