Instructional Designer
Job Details


Adomni is looking for an Instructional Designer who will design and develop Adomni’s learning environments and experiences for internal and external use. The Instructional Designer’s primary responsibility will be to develop and design courses and curriculum for the company’s learning and development program. You will work very closely with the VP of Marketing and VP of Product.



VP of Marketing



  1. Develop and design courses and curriculum

  2. Create learning experiences and environments

  3. Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs

  4. State instructional end goals and create content that matches them

  5. Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product

  6. Conduct instructional research and analysis

  7. Develop and design material and assessment tools

  8. Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, etc)

  9. Train instructors, students, and employees in how to use learning technologies

  10. Keep current on best practices in instructional design



  1. Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology

  2. Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models

  3. Solid knowledge of course development software and Learning Management Systems

  4. Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard

  5. Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts

  6. Critical thinking skills

  7. Ability to consistently deliver work on time, in a deadline-oriented environment

  8. Detail-oriented and organized

  9. Self-starter mentality and ability to initiate and manage projects with minimal direction

  10. Experience using Asana software for project management is a PLUS



  1. 5+ years of relevant work experience is a prerequisite.

  2. Past experience in a startup, software company, or advertising company is a plus.
