Position Summary:

Responsible for developing and maintaining positive, professional relationships with students and community organizations for the purpose of student recruitment, practicum placement, and practicum completion.


Position Description:

  • Consistent focus on recruiting sources, social media and advanced internet sourcing
  • Identify and cultivate relevant opportunities with current and future students
  • Coordinate and deliver corresponding presentations to internal and external customers
  • Coach and collaborate with internal students to ensure best possible applicant is hired
  • Meet established targets on leads and placements
  • Monitor and communicate information regarding local trends and status of community resources with service providers and other key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and policies
  • Review, document, and communicate sensitive information in confidential and professional manner
  • Attend career fairs, networking events, classroom presentations and other community events
  • Screen candidates for follow-up and on phone or in person as appropriate
  • Plans, organizes and coordinates recruitment projects and initiatives
  • Liaison with area colleges and universities, employment agencies and other vendors to maintain relationships and promote the agency
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Knowledge of specific areas of focus (behavioral health, corrections, housing) as applicable

  • Ability to interface professionally with funder/referral sources and executive/boar of trustee leadership

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent education/experience
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Valid drivers license and current auto insurance
