Community Housing Partners is looking for Weatherization Technicians  to join our team in Winchester, VA!

Weatherization Technician Responsibilities:

  • Install insulation levels in thermal boundaries of dwelling (to include attic, exterior wall, domestic water heater, and mobile home belly) as required.
  • Install general construction materials (such as windows, siding, roofing, framing, etc.).
  • Seal, insulate, and perform basic repairs to duct systems.
  • Perform other energy-related and non-energy-related residential improvements as required.
  • Assess and report all energy-related and non-energy-related improvements in construction.
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, work cooperatively, and provide outstanding quality service.
  • Perform any other duties appropriate within the Weatherization Technician skillset, as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Entry level Weatherization Technicians:
    • Must be willing to travel.
    • Crawl into crawl spaces and attics and exposed to heat and cold conditions.
