Department: Clinical

Location: Various locations across Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens

Registered Nurse (Gastroenterology)

Essential Functions:

• Observe and communicate patients symptoms and communicate to providers
• Perform routine procedures (insertion of IV lines, etc.) and fill in patient charts
• Monitor patients' vitals in a three bed/stretcher post-procedure recovery room
• Educate patients regarding post-procedure safety steps prior to discharge
• Discharge patients into the care of their caregiver
• Work within a team of specialty RNs to inspect and maintain the facilities to AAAASF accreditation standards
• Other tasks as assigned related to specific specialty office and as assigned by Office Manager

Qualifications:

• Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• Current NYS Registered Nurse License and registration required
• BLS or ACLS certification required
• 2+ years clinical nursing experience in a community setting preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Passionate about customer service and patient satisfaction
• Flexible with a full-time work schedule including weekends
