What We're Looking For:

We’re looking for a Director of Business Operations and Strategy to join our growing team. This position will report into the General Counsel/VP of HR and will work closely with the executive leadership team to execute company strategy, grow, scale, and run the business more effectively. You will sit at the intersection of Product, Technology, Marketing, Customer Service, Analytics, Finance, and Human Resources, and work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and solve strategic and operational business problems.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Work with project managers and teams to execute company strategy across multiple initiatives, departments, and teams.
  • Drive progress and ensure alignment on priorities, projects, and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a process to prioritize projects and initiatives and ensure teams stay focused on the priorities.
  • Assess and monitor resource allocation.
  • Identify and evaluate critical priorities and/or strategic issues that ultimately lead to decisive action such as reprioritization based on new projects/initiatives and available resources.
  • Drive collaboration and decision-making across functional areas.
  • Facilitate team meetings to align stakeholders, drive issue resolution, and accelerate progress.
  • Provide leadership in internal communications to ensure effective communication between and among teams.
  • Design and implement operating principles and processes that enable the company to complete projects and initiatives effectively and efficiently.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline our workflows, meeting cadences, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Help develop KPIs for success measurement and deliver reporting metrics and analysis.
  • Help prepare and analyze management presentations, including monthly/quarterly reporting.

 

What You Will Need:

  • 7+ years’ experience working in business operations, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership role
  • Experience interacting with and influencing team members at all levels of an organization
  • Experience aligning business strategy with functional strategies
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across functional areas
  • Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Proven record of executing complex plans and projects across an organization
  • Ability to shift between long-term, mid-term and day-to-day perspectives
  • Strong situational judgment with the ability to foster open communication and manage conflict
  • Experience designing and implementing operating principles
