Summary

The Talent Acquisition/Recruiter is a critical addition to People Operations and driving obtaining the best talent. Responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates to the hiring manager. An advanced user with the ATS. The TA Recruiter must understand, model, and represent the employment value proposition. They will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for Suvida Healthcare. He or she will identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust and partnerships with the leaders, identify potential fit through effective interviewing, effectively administer the interviewing and onboarding process, and ensure a positive new hire experience. Developing and executing recruitment plans and strategies are primary responsibilities to ensure hiring goals are met with the best possible talent. All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate. Essential responsibilities consist of but not all inclusive:

  • Consult with leaders, hiring managers and the People Operations team on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation, and sourcing strategies.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Continuously develop networks/partnerships to actively build database/pipeline of
  • Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as resume & phone screens, candidate interviews, recommend final selection of applicants and close qualified candidates.
  • Assist the HR Coordinator to arrange pre-employment testing, background & references screenings.
  • Place and update all job postings in various Media including internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards and staffing partners.
  • Represent Suvida Healthcare at recruiting events (i.e., college job fairs), providing company/job information and interviewing applicants.
  • Give presentations at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the company before and after career fairs.
  • Support the HR Coordinator at times with the creation of offer letters, maintain applicant tracking system, recruiting reports and other staffing administration functions as needed.
  • Support the HR Coordinator and Generalist with new employee onboarding, ensuring process is engaging and that processes are followed and accurate.
  • Respond timely to internal and external applicant situations, and applicant requests as required.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
  • Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours to reach applicant pool.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in human resources or related field.
  • 5 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process preferred
  • SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.

Experience Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • 3+ years experience creating and implementing sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • 3+ years experience recruiting across multiple locations and market areas
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative and critically think.
  • Advanced time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Advanced with or applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for prolonged periods of time, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach with hands and arms. Hand eye coordination is necessary to operate computers and other office equipment; must be able to operate a motor vehicle. When representing Suvida Healthcare at external events, the Talent Acquisition/Recruiter also required to stand for prolonged periods of time, kneel, crouch, bend and lift, and able to move up to 30 pounds.
