What You'll Do

The Sr. Hobby Sales Manager is a high performing sales leader that excels at meeting customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our hobby sales strategies competitive and innovative. This role is responsible for maximizing our Hobby Sales team potential, crafting sales plans, and communicating and justifying those plans to the upper management. 

 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Lead and inspire the hobby sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize performance and professional growth. 
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue, expand the customer base, and achieve sales objectives. 
  • Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team, regularly monitor performance, and provide feedback to ensure sales goals are met. 
  • Conduct sales training sessions to equip the team with product knowledge, sales techniques, and best practices. 
  • Foster strong relationships with key clients and prospects, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional customer service. 
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed sales forecasts and strategic decisions. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align efforts and optimize sales strategies. 
  • Continuously evaluate and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and productivity. 
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify potential opportunities and challenges. 
  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, providing meaningful insights into sales performance and trends.

What Makes You Successful

Education/Experience  

  • Four years minimum in sales or customer service  
  • Two years minimum of experience in leadership or management  
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Management or related field.  
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite and PowerBI 

 

Qualifications  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.  
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with other individuals in a high energy, team-oriented environment. 
  • Acute problem-solving skills. 
  • Willingness to own, manage, and improve upon specific projects. 
  • Time management skills and the ability to balance different projects at once. 
  • Leadership skills including the ability to grow and develop team members.
