Job Summary

The Analytics Engineer will be focused on developing tools in collaboration with the Strategy and Population Health teams. The engineers will partner with the IT team to develop and maintain efficient, clean and structured data objects in our data warehouse. The engineers will also be responsible for the development of new dashboards and advanced technical tools. Essential responsibilities consist of but not all inclusive:

 

  • Provide analytical insights to support population health management operations in close collaboration with clinical, operations and population health teams.

  • Develop analytical reports and dashboards that measure clinical quality, provider performance and healthcare utilization.

  • Support analysts and other technical stakeholders in the utilization of the data warehouse and Power BI platform.

  • Document and implement business logic to develop data assets in our data warehouse through collaboration with the IT department.

  • Support technical integration with external data sources, including development of various data pipeline or other ETL processes.

  • Analyze claims data, EHR and other related databases using advanced analytical tools and techniques.

  • Perform Quality Assurance and Validation tests of the data

  • Building tools and reports to ensure the timely delivery and validity of the data.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in IT Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics or related field.

  • Masters Preferred

Experience Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Data Analytics or engineering role

  • 2+ years experience in SQL

  • Strong experience in developing with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI)

  • 2+ years of experience in developing programming solutions in Python (PANDAS, numpy, scikit-learn)

  • 2+ years of experience working with both structured and unstructured data including the following file formats: .txt, .csv, .xlsx, .json

  • 2+ years of experience in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience with cloud engineering (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, etc)

  • Experience developing software solutions with APIs

  • Experience with REGEX parsing

  • Experience with Git Version Control

  • Experience with Unix Operation System

  • Experience in Azure and Microsoft environment is preferred

  • Healthcare and value-based care experience is a plus

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for prolonged periods of time, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach with hands and arms. Hand eye coordination is necessary to operate computers and other office equipment; must be able to operate a motor vehicle. When representing Suvida Healthcare at external events, the Analytics Engineer is also required to stand for prolonged periods of time, kneel, crouch, bend and lift, and able to move up to 30 pounds.
