Summary

The Neighborhood Engagement Consultant (NEC) reports to the CEO and is responsible for developing relationships with key local organizations, businesses, and individuals within their assigned neighborhood to accelerate patient acquisition opportunities. The NEC will also identify and meet with prospective new patients and their families to introduce them to the Suvida model, as well as guide them from initial education on Suvida through their first scheduled appointment. Essential responsibilities consist of but are not all inclusive:

  • Serves as the growth engine for the Suvida Neighborhood Center primary care team. Drives new member growth by educating potential patients on our value proposition and healthcare model.

  • Builds and sustains relationships with seniors and businesses in our neighborhoods to generate new lead opportunities year-round.

  • Accountable for achieving designated monthly, quarterly, and annual enrollment and growth targets, as articulated by management.

  • Meets with potential new patients and their families in their homes, place of worship, workplace, community senior centers or residential communities to educate on the Suvida model and value proposition.

  • Cultivates collaborative relationships with insurance brokers, social workers and social service providers, and senior centers to ensure Suvida is top-of-mind when working with Hispanic senior patients in need of a primary care provider. Engages community officials, businesses, and senior outreach programs to collaborate on joint marketing initiatives that contribute to new patient growth.

  • Equips broker, local payer, and community-based partners with comprehensive training and educational collateral to educate potential new patients and their families of the benefits of the Suvida comprehensive care model on behalf of Suvida.

  • Maintains relationships with the clinical and operations teams at the Neighborhood Center to better work as a team in the community

  • Utilizes available marketing and sales tools to optimize new patient growth. Houses updated prospective patient (client) information in Suvidas chosen Client Relationship Management tool. Systematically documents prospective patient interactions in CRM tool to effectively manage new patient leads through enrollment.

  • Leverages CRM tool to ensure no lead is left untouched. Works to revive dormant leads through fresh outreach.

  • Creates outreach materials and recruits participants for webinars, listening sessions, key informant interviews, etc.

  • Collaborates with Center Marketing & Events Coordinator to plan and execute local events within the community. Invites insurance agents and/or brokers to community events to drive patient assignment to Suvida Neighborhood Centers.

  • Consistently engages and nurtures relationships with acquired patients throughout their tenure with Suvida to positively impact retention. Helps address and resolve customer issues.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for

  • Must be at least 18 years-old (due to state licensing requirements) and meet minimum education requirements: High School Diploma or GED

  • Sales experience

  • Computer and technology skills (Zoom, WebEx, Excel, Word, Outlook, and productivity applications)

  • Thrive in a sales environment

The additional important things

The Neighborhood Engagement Consultant (NEC) is an Entry to Mid-Level office/field/remote position and full-time role that offers a basic base salary and commissionAfter 18 months working in the community and increasing your book of business, the basic base salary decreases and the focus will be on your great work and commission. Qualifications

Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degree preferred

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

 

Experience Requirements

  • Bi-lingual- English and Spanish, required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and able to manage several priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • 3+ years related experience (e.g., marketing, sales, Neighborhood Engagement).

  • Healthcare industry preferred but not required.

  • Ability and willingness to travel locally and regionally; much of the work is conducted off Neighborhood Center premises.

  • An active driver's license preferred.

 

Physical Demands

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for prolonged periods of time, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach with hands and arms. Hand eye coordination is necessary to operate computers and other office equipment; must be able to operate a motor vehicle. When representing Suvida Healthcare at external events, the Neighborhood Engagement Consultant will also be required to stand for prolonged periods of time, kneel, crouch, bend and lift, and be able to move up to 30 pounds.
