Essential Functions
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Visually inspects and provides regular and emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
- Ability to dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools. Install new parts and reassemble.
- Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors/ other maintenance to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Operates cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
Required Skills
- Ability to interpret and utilize hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical blueprints, operator manuals and/or part catalogs to successfully fulfill preventative and corrective maintenance procedures.
- Safely sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures and tools.
- Use of Proper PPE and LOTO as required.
- Maintain good attendance and able to work weekends as needed.
- Certified to use Forklift, reach-truck, scissor lift.
- Complies with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass a drug screening.

education / experience requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- 1+ year technical degree (Journeymen and/or Maintenance Certification)
- 5+ years' experience in Industrial Maintenance is preferred
