Programmer Analyst 1

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Entry-level professional with limited or no prior experience to contribute on projects and programming assignments. Responsible for providing technical professional programming work to design, maintain and support enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications. Demonstrable skills in VBA, Excel, MS Access, SQL, query languages and Database development is preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

  • Be customer focused (customers being Kelco employees)
  • Develop and modify Access databases and VBA code for MS products
  • Use SQL to query data for problem solving, create ad hoc reports and convert data in the database
  • Assist with identifying equipment safety and performance
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment
  • Complete daily assigned task
  • Other projects or duties assigned by manager

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • MS Access VBA for Microsoft Products
  • Ability to analyze projects and develop according to a specified set of requirements and deliverables
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
  • skilled in developing and delivery of presentations
  • Planning, design, installation, testing and modification of basic systems or supporting subsystems
  • Use of Proper PPE when entering production area
  • Follow proper safety procedures and report and safety concerns
  • Maintain good attendance and able to work weekends as needed
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening
  • Complies with OSHA Safety and Health rules
  • Responsible to meet required deadlines

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • BS Computer Science
  • Senior year or college graduate
  • Knowledge of one or more object-oriented programming languages
