Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced and reliable maintenance technicians to join our growing team!

The Maintenance Technician’s responsibilities are to fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines under appropriate supervision. They are responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled facilities maintenance, preventive maintenance, component replacement and repair tasks, utilizing carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills. They work on assigned projects and make appropriate decisions based on work experience and technical skill set.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect facilities, prioritizes necessary repairs, improvements, and preventive maintenance tasks.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment in the manufacturing facility, including company vehicles.

  • Perform monthly safety inspections and record keeping. 

  • Reviews OEM manuals for recommendations of preventative maintenance and implement.

  • Read work orders and specification to determine machines and equipment requiring repair.

  • Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to OEM specification.

  • Complete maintenance tasks from start to finish in a timely manner.

  • Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.

  • Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, parts, and equipment.

  • Operate cranes, drills, saws, and other small tools as required.

  • Carry out various clerical or janitorial duties.

  • Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information in CMMS software.

  • Set up and operate machines and adjust controls to regulate operations.

  • Must follow all safety rules by always keeping work area clean and safe from hazards.

  • Update and communicate with production and supervisory team’s available information on repairs.

  • Perform preventative maintenance, routine inspections, diagnoses, and repairs for tractor systems including:
    • Fuel lines, engine, transmission, electrical systems, brakes, steering, telemetric, HVAC, drivelines, bodywork?

Automation/Electrical Experience:

Are you able to:

  • Assemble custom automation for mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics
  • Install and service electrical control systems
  • Maintain and troubleshoot industrial equipment and processes:
    • Pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, automation?
