We are seeking a Telesales and Payment Specialist to join our Telesales team. This position is primarily responsible for communicating with businesses that partner with us for ad campaigns to resolve payment issues. The Telesales & Payment Specialist will communicate payment details confirming location payment information and entering data into our database system. This position will also be responsible for making outbound calls direct to businesses we are interested in partnering with for upcoming ad campaigns.


Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Take incoming calls regarding payment questions from our venue partners.
  • Resolve Customer concerns and payment issues in a calm, professional manner
  • Work with operations department to resolve payment issues that arise in market
  • Update business profile data and contact information to ensure database accuracy
  • Research and follow-up on all returned checks in a timely manner
  • Maintain weekly communication with accounting and all departments for rush payment requests
  • Assist and resolve payment related questions from Telesales Department
  • Develop an accurate and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the business
  • Ability to multitask between working on payment responsibilities and upcoming campaigns
  • Remain up to date on status of all assigned campaigns
  • Reach and maintain performance metrics as assigned
  • Additional projects as assigned

  • At least two to three (2-3) years of outbound call center or account payable experience required
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of accounts payable and experience with financial payment reporting
  • Detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or other languages is a plus
  • Friendly, courteous, service-oriented, professional, outgoing, and customer service oriented.
  • Ability and desire to make substantial outgoing calls and cold calls to generate business and service existing venue partners
  • Experience in using skip tracing tools
  • Adaptable to a fast paced and changing work environment
  • Ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively with customers.
  • Excellent judgment and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work-related stress is required.
  • Remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision.
  • Recognize problems, identify possible causes and resolve routine issues.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional atmosphere for employees, clients and customers.
  • Knowledge of relationship management and contract management systems (Salesforce a plus); word and database processing software (Word and Excel); and electronic mail and internet software (Outlook).


  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
