We are in need of an Electrical Engineer to meet the demands of our expanding business. Our engineers are self-motivated professionals with a passion for helping customers make scientific breakthroughs. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in electronics design and firmware development with skills that will drive growth in our temperature, magnetics, and MeasureReady™ product lines. This opening is on our Instrument Product Development team which focuses on extremely low-noise measurement instruments. This position will be based out of our Westerville, OH, office, but can work a hybrid remote schedule.

 

Primary Duties Include: 

  • Develop scientific instruments
  • Design analog, digital, and power circuits focusing on op amp topologies
  • Understand customer measurement needs in nanotechnology, quantum physics, and basic material research 
  • Test and validate electronics
  • Provide technical support to external customers 
  • Using software to run automated tests (particularly C/C++ or Python)
  • Infuse design for manufacturability into innovative solutions

Qualified candidates will possess the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering 
  • Experience in analog circuit design development

Additional consideration will be given to candidates who possess experience with the following: 

  • ADC/DAC Methodologies 
  • FPGAs
  • Small signal PCB designs 
  • Analysis techniques including statistical modeling, thermal analysis, and circuit simulation
  • Real-time embedded firmware experience
  • Ability to understand schematics and component datasheets
