- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current registered nurse licensure by the District of Columbia State Board of Nursing.

Experience:
- Minimum of (4) years of teaching experience required
- Minimum of (5) years full-time or equivalent clinical experience required
- Completed 16 hours of CNA Train the Trainer course (adult learning)
Required Licensure/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse License in DC
Computer/Technology Skills:
- Must have solid technical skills Previous experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite required.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of nursing related to the material required to present
- Demonstrated communication skills necessary to explain complex medical and scientific concepts in a manner that’s easy to understand and provide written feedback on student assignments
- High-level interpersonal skills to give constructive feedback and serve as trusted advisor for students
- Creative problem-solving ability to address issues that arise due to student performance or overcome obstacles to delivering established curriculum.
