Byrna Technologies is looking for a Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing, fulfilment, and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly

What You Will Do

  • Manage warehouse and department employees in compliance with company policies and vision
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution operations and maintenance of equipment and infrastructure supporting these areas
  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
  • Manage stock control and reconcile within ERP system
  • Liaise with customer service and other internal clients on urgent actions and Continuous Improvement
  • Develop, monitor, and report on department KPI for Customer Satisfaction in On-Time Delivery and Quality.
    • Support efficient Supply Chain by collaborating with Quality and Production Departments tactically (i.e. timely daily ERP transactions and material flow) and strategically,
  • Proven work experience as a warehouse manager in a production facility
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Strong experience with warehouse management software and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP)
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
