Assist department by performing daily facility repairs and regular upkeep of airplane hangars and office facilities
Perform special projects & building repairs that include framing walls, drywall, paint, carpet, ceiling tile, door hardware, minor electrical, minor plumbing and minor HVAC repairs.
Ability to operate and work for scissors and/or articulating boom lifts in a safe manner.
Troubleshoot & diagnose belt-driven and chain-driven motors
Assess janitorial upkeep, support housekeeping personnel, inventory and purchase supplies.
Assist the management team by communicating the need for extensive repairs
Good communication skills and ability to work independently with little supervision
Coordinate and communicate among service level vendors and staff, customer service
Maintain knowledge of supply inventory
Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using machinery
Perform other duties as assigned

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of building systems is required
Previous relevant experience in commercial building construction or maintenance is desired
Must have hand and miscellaneous power tools to fulfill maintenance projects
Familiarity with work order systems a plus
Certificate(s) for operating fork, scissor, or articulating lifts a plus
OSHA training certificate a plus
Strong attention to detail and professional appearance
Must be able to work in all climates
Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Lift and/or move up to 50pounds, sometimes over shoulder.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Ability to drive large vehicles such as cargo vans and box trucks
Ability to pass background check for airport security badge
