Job Summary:

The Lead Sales Associate plays a key role in daily store operations by guiding team members, managing shift tasks, and delivering outstanding customer service. Additionally the role is responsible for the upkeep of the Hawk Shop convenience store, focusing on ordering and restocking food, beverages, and health & beauty products while ensuring a clean, welcoming environment. Essential Job Functions:

  • Delivers outstanding customer service

  • Operates cash register accurately

  • Performs stocking and merchandising duties

  • Assists in hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of part time employees.

  • Addresses service issues, ensuring prompt resolution.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate

  • Daytime availability (Monday-Saturday)

  • Requires evening and weekend work as scheduled

  • Ability to work with the public in a retail sales situation

  • Moderate cashiering/electronic cash register experience

  • Ability to do moderately heavy lifting

  • Skills to effectively communicate with students, faculty, and staff.

  • Previous retail experience with supervisory experience preferred.
