  • 8 hour, 10 hour, 12 hour shifts
  • Days, Swing, Grave and weekend
  • Open 7 days a week

The material handler position is critical to helping to maintain the efficiencies of the die department. They are responsible for moving paper loads with a pallet jack and using the aerator machine to remove defects. Some advice for a new the material handler is to ask questions to avoid injuries and mistakes. It is important to stay focus to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the products. Sometimes there is some heavy lifting involved so it is important to be physically equipped. The material handler appreciates that they are able to work alone and with a team depending on the job duty.

This custom manufacturing business is also very humbling in that you learn something new every single day. Manufacturing is exciting and can be unpredictable. We all do the best we can but at the end of the day we must give ourselves some grace. Although we strive for perfection, we are not perfect people and do not make a perfect product. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1 Cork dies
2 Relieve the Pre-Make ready person Put stripping boards together after they are cut on the Gerber.
3. Relieve Baler operator when needed. Banding all make ready stock for the recycler.
4. Prep / Aerate / Stage loads for the Cutting and Printing Departments as directed.
5. Remove defects and sort areas from the loads.
6. Band loads for outside processing and complete paper work as necessary.
7. Work as part of a team and be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Broad training in a related professional field usually acquired through   education or equivalent combination knowledge, skills, education or work-related experience.
Job related experience for a 3-month minimum.
Detail oriented
Working knowledge of the following areas:                            
Learn to trouble shoot problems and do preventative maintenance as needed.
Recycles all paper and cardboard by placing them in their proper containers.
