Motion Graphics Producer

A busy Hollywood-based entertainment advertising design agency is seeking an exceptional Motion Graphics Producer to develop Theatrical, Broadcast, Streaming and Digital motion graphics projects. The right candidate must have experience dealing directly with clients as well as an internal creative team and possess the ability to manage project deadlines, establish and work within project budgets and effectively manage resources.

Responsibilities Include: 

-Serve as the point person for the graphics team to manage production on all campaigns

-Effectively manage and fulfill clients’ needs meeting deadlines and project budgets

- Manage workload and calendar of the Motion Designers. Schedule in-house team of artists

- Effectively manage timely production of 2D and 3D design and animation workflows, tracking and compositing for multiple projects 

- Work with creative directors and designers to brief and assess project scope

- Assign work requests to graphic artists and brief the graphics team on project details, timelines, and workflow

- Relay feedback and track that all feedback has been successfully addressed

- Ensure quality control and the delivery of exceptional, high-quality graphics

- Juggle and prioritize multiple projects, while tracking available resources and project timelines

- Trouble-shoot editorial and graphics workflow issues as they arise

- Understand and enforce quality control of all incoming/ outgoing files to the group

- Promote and support the archival processes of job-­closings 

- Source and secure freelance support, as needed

- Facilitate and support shooting / video productions

- Work with IT as needed on hardware and software requests and issues

 

Administrative Responsibilities include:

Scheduling and resourcing

Billing for Motion department

Creating project budgets and bids for potential jobs 

Time sheet support for the team

Meetings, briefs, and internal regroups

Outreach and Promotion

Build and sustain relationships with Creative teams

Help to maintain internal and public Motion reels 

Seek PR opportunities: Award shows submissions, institution and vendor partnerships 

 

Qualifications:

-4-5 years experience in motion graphics in broadcast and/or theatrical marketing

-Ability to effectively manage tight deadlines

-Extremely organized with excellent follow through

-Strong experience with 2D and 3D workflows for AE and C4D with a solid understanding of animation/tracking/compositing

-Experience with broadcast creative standards and style guides, familiarity with frame rates, title safety, and all broadcast specs

-Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

-Strong attention to detail 

-Ability to multi task, prioritize and manage the pressure of multiple projects
