Engagement Specialist II - RE - HT

Under direct supervision, works with staff to support the library's strategic goals and initiatives by assisting customers and providing relevant and timely programs and services, both inside and outside the library.

This position will be assigned to the Ralph Ellison 2000 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73111.

As if this time, the candidate will need to be available to work the following shift: Wednesday 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Thursday 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Friday 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM and Sunday 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. 

BENEFIT INFORMATION FOR HALF-TIME

• Vacation Leave @ 4 hours per month.
• Sick Leave @ 4 hours per month.
• Eleven paid holidays (subject to date of hire).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science from an accredited college or university; and
• One year of customer service experience.

HIGHLY PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Enthusiasm for public service and the ability to work well with a diverse audience.
• Experience building sustainable community relationships.
• High level of comfort with program planning, implementation and evaluation.
