What We're Looking For:

We are looking for a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to oversee the company-wide budgeting process and on-going reforecasts, business performance reporting, and support operational initiatives with scenario modeling and detailed analysis.


This role will report to our Chief Financial Officer and provide broad exposure to the executive team and key decision makers across the company. The ideal candidate should have strong budgeting and financial modeling skills, excellent attention to detail, and be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will work cross-functionally on key initiatives with a direct and quantifiable impact on our profitability and will be able to understand the key levers that drive the business. Our company works remotely so excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must!



  • Lead annual budget and on-going reforecast processes across business units and departments. Continuously improve predictive value of forecast based on analysis of actual results.
  • Support the monthly close process by identifying and understanding budget to actual variances.
  • Prepare monthly operating reports that provide in-depth financial analysis and monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of changes. Conduct deep dives when observing abnormal trends
  • Identify and implement improvements to make financial and operational reporting better, faster and easier
  • Understand, manipulate, and leverage various data sources to develop cross-functional models that allow us to develop operational solutions to improve key metrics (such as LTV, cost of acquisition, customer and advisor profitability)
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and projects from various business partner
  • Lead process improvement initiatives by leveraging data and insights




  • 5+ years of FP&A, operational finance, corporate finance or investment banking experience at a high-growth technology startup or well-established company
  • Workday Adaptive Planning (formerly Adaptive Insights) or equivalent budgeting software experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint and Power BI or equivalent business analysis software experience
  • Experience with SQL or a willingness to learn
  • Ability to solve complex business problems, build detailed financial models and communicate key business drivers to the executive team.
  • Candidate should be detail oriented, self-motivated, and an excellent creative problem solver, with a proven ability to successfully manage multiple, disparate streams of work in a challenging, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate teamwork, integrity, and have a positive attitude.
  • Proven ability to execute and promote continuous improvement and to immediately add value to the team.
  • Advanced Excel skills and Power Point skills.
  • Position requires the ability to work extended hours on a computer.
