The Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region Wendover ReStore is looking for an energetic, dynamic individual to join our team as a Pricing/Merchandise Coordinator. This position is responsible for quickly and accurately ticketing, pricing, and moving items to the sales floor. The Pricing/Merchandise Coordinator also collaborates with other backroom staff, organizes and maintains the backroom, helps to enforce policies, and provides supervision and guidance to volunteers.
Working to build homes, communities and hope in Charlotte and the surrounding area, Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region has partnered with more than 3,000 families since 1983. This year, we will help over 300 families through new home construction, recycling existing homes, critical home repair projects and financial literacy training. Essential Functions (Other duties may be assigned):

Ensure all items are researched, accurately ticketed, and safely moved to the sales floor in a timely manner

Collaborate with store leadership regarding the priority, timing, and placement of incoming donations/merchandise

Responsible for working with all donation drivers regarding the loading and offloading placement of donations

Organizing and maintaining the flow of merchandise in the back room

Maintain organization of the purchased items area by upholding the ReStore's 3-day hold policy. Communicate with customers daily in order to coordinate product pickups

Walk the sales floor daily to ensure pricing accuracy and adjust, as needed

Provide oversight and hands-on training for the volunteers and other support groups

Be an effective team member when working with staff and volunteers, ensuring the engagement and motivation of others

Demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude when interacting with employees, customers, donors, volunteers and the public

Ensure a meaningful volunteer experience

Represent Habitat in a positive, professional manner to all donors, customers and others you come in contact with

Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment for customers, employees and volunteers

Assist in ensuring that each customer receives outstanding customer service

Assist in the receiving of items that are dropped off when assistance is needed on the receiving dock

Operate a cash register periodically, as needed

Ability to read, count, and accurately complete reports and all end-of-day documentation
