Summer Camp Communications Associate

Annunciation Orthodox School seeks qualified candidates for a Summer Camp Communications Associate to work with camp staff to capture content for use on our social media platforms and acts as the resident photographer for most camp activities from 8:30 AM - 4:15 PM Monday-Friday while camp is in session.

Reports to: Director of Extended Day

Status: Part-time/Hourly

Work Schedule:

• Camp Planning: Monday-Friday hours will vary between 12:00-6:00 PM May 1-24. 2023

• Staff Training: Tuesday-Friday 8:30 AM - 3:45 PM May 30 - June 2, 2023

• Camp Program: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 4:15 PM June 5 - 23 & July 10 - 28, 2023

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Communications in managing project timelines and executing communications needs for the Camp AOS program

• Act as the camp photographer for most camp activities to capture heartwarming moments for our families

• ­Coordinate with the Director of Communications to camp families when necessary

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required

• Experience in photography and social media

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and families
