Position Profile

Service leads the customer experience, and delivering an exceptional experience requires a unified front across the entire company. As a champion of the BEGA Business System, the Controller directs the financial affairs of the organization and prepares financial analyses of the operation, including interim and year-end financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management. The Controller is responsible for the companys financial plans and policies, its accounting practices, the conduct

of its relationships with the financial community, the maintenance of its fiscal records, and the preparation of financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices. The position involves management of general accounting, credit and collections, internal auditing, tax compliance, cost accounting and budgetary controls. Primary responsibilities include strategic

planning, forecasting, resource alignment, budgeting, and coordinating financial operations in support of BEGA North Americas overall strategy. within a multi-campus environment.

Knowledge & Experience

• Minimum BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with accounting emphasis.
• CPA certification or equivalent experience. Preferably MBA.
• Minimum 5+ years progressively responsible experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Fully functional with all aspects of Financial Accounting Software.
• Strong knowledge of fully integrated manufacturing software applications and systems desirable.
• Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles, analysis, budgeting, financial controls, and concepts.
• Exceptional ability to work independently.
• Possesses the desire, capacity, and toolset necessary to drive continuous improvement.
• Has a history of building effective teams, elevating the efforts of others, and growing careers.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to all tasks.
• Ability to set and meet deadlines including a strong ability to manage multiple tasks to completion.
• Possesses a positive, professional attitude, and a willingness to be part of a team environment.
