Under the direction of the Vice President, Marketing, the Marketing Director, Retail is responsible for developing, managing and implementing the B2C marketing and communications strategy for a designated group of retail properties in order to achieve key business objectives and ensure consistent brand messaging.



  • Leverage market research, consumer insights and big data to identify core consumer targets.
  • Design and execute strategic marketing programs and events that drive consumer visits and sales.
  • Ensure brand standards are maintained across all marketing channels
  • Develop digital and social media strategy to ensure property websites and social media channels have engaging and relevant content and deliver a quality user experience.
  • Direct agency resources to create and deploy targeted digital advertising campaigns, analyze performance results and modify as necessary.
  • Monitor financials to ensure budget targets are achieved.
  • Generate alternative revenue through sponsorships, brand activations, special events and venue rentals.
  • Lead defined departmental special projects.
  • Lead Crisis Communications efforts and media response.
  • Other Duties as assigned



  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or Communications.
  • 5+ year track record of success in marketing/communications.
  • A history of developing consumer marketing plans, campaigns and events.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and reputation for excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe programs and other content management platforms.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel to field locations as necessary.
