“To certify the basic skills and knowledge of a Neurodiagnostic Tech Assistant through a six-month hybrid program thus fostering the pursuit of a formal education and Registry in the field of Neurodiagnostics.”

Goals of the course:

· To become proficient in the International 10-20 measuring system

· Basic knowledge on neurological disorders, neuroanatomy.

· Basic knowledge of medical terminology, medications, Normal and abnormal brain activity.

· Basic knowledge of EEG equipment, instrumentation, troubleshooting techniques.

· How to obtain a complete patient history.

· Basic HIPPA/HITECH knowledge.
