Description

General Description: This position reports to the Director of Technology and provides technology support for the educational and support functions of the school.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Minimum of three years of related work experience in education, including classroom experience and any equivalent combination of training
  • Knowledge of Windows,  Apple, hardware, MAc OS and iOS software, and G Suite for education
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • A strong clear Christian testimony
  • A lifestyle of biblical integrity
  • A spirit of dedication, commitment, flexibility, and responsiveness to counsel
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and presentation skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines

Duties and Responsibilities

Spiritual

  • Models a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ in speech, actions, attitudes
  • Actively involved in church
  • Follows Matthew 18 principle in dealing with interpersonal conflict

 

General

  • Provide first level technical support to faculty and staff
  • Troubleshoot and determine service problems with web, email and other Internet applications
  • Promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications
  • Install, update, troubleshoot and determine issues with PC hardware, software and peripherals
  • Assist with upgrading and maintaining campus technology
  • Troubleshoot and maintain classroom technology including desktop computers, laptops, projectors, and Smart Boards
  • Provide software assistance in classroom and offices
  • Receive, investigate, resolve, and track tech requests in a timely manner
  • Resolve/reset password and logon problems
  • Resolve various printer and print job problems
  • Install, repair, maintain and configure new and used desktop computers
  • Improve system performance by identifying problems; recommending changes
  • Participate in development of faculty professional development programs by identifying learning issues
