Description

Under the direction of the Development Director, the Corporate and Community Engagement Coordinator will help expand and execute strategic priorities, support the implementation of special events, and drive meaningful volunteer experiences. Community Engagement at Human Options is a vital role in outreach and communicating not only what we do but why we do it. Our Corporate and Community Engagement Coordinator gives voice to the passion we have for ending relationship violence in Orange County.

  • Generate revenue by building relationships with corporations, faith-based organizations, and community groups with the purpose of increasing and building a long-term base of sustainable support.

    • Lead the collaboration with the Prevention Educators and Program Supervisors on potential donor prospects within current community partners or external presentations to meet the Development Plan.

    • Responsible for outreach to community and donors to secure in-kind donations.

  • Implementation of special events to engage new donor prospects.

    • Lead the Holiday Program and facilitate Sisterhood events by engaging key donors and securing donated items.

  • Support the Development Director and the Major Gifts Director with fundraising and execution of Serious Fun, Fall Luncheon, and Annual Meeting.

  • Responsible for recruiting and cultivating volunteers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, related field or commensurate work experience.

  • Experience coordinating events.

  • Experience generating revenue from businesses and individuals.
