Position Purpose:
We are looking for a consumer obsessed, metrics driven, brand building, ski loving, Global Director of Marketing, Ski Brands. The Global Director of Marketing, Ski Brands, is a critical leadership role which will define, develop and drive brand enhancing, best in class, digitally-led marketing strategies for K2 Ski, Volkl, Line, Marker, and Dalbello. The Global Director of Marketing, will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and play an integral role in driving our brands growth, positioning in the marketplace, and deep meaningful consumer connections globally.

Essential Job Duties

Strategy Development:
Define, Develop, and drive comprehensive brand & go-to-market full funnel marketing strategies with a digital first mindset, clear business goals and clear KPIs in alignment with each brand’s mission, vision, positioning, and values. Lead marketing initiatives across B2B and B2C to hit metrics and growth targets by brand, by category, by region.

Team management:
Build and lead a cross functional team of marketing professionals. Provide guidance, set goals, and ensure the team’s performance and professional development. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

Budget management:
Manage the ski brands marketing budget, effectively allocating resources to various channels and campaigns to support brand and product initiatives and to achieve the best possible ROI.

Campaign planning and execution:
Plan, create an implement marketing campaigns at the intersection of digital and physical experience. Establish goals and KPIs for all marketing based on historical or projected results, and tie back actual performance and pipeline growth.

Data analysis and reporting:
Monitor, hindsight, and analyze the performance of digital marketing initiatives, using analytic tools provide regular reports on KPIs such as awareness, engagement, web traffic, conversion rates, sell through velocity, and new customer acquisition.

Website management:
Partner with DTC team on digital consumer experience including global programming, and optimization to ensure it is user-friendly, and up to date to unlock full potential of the strategic growth driver brands.

Social media management:
Develop and execute social media strategy & content strategy for organic and paid social. Oversee the creation of high-quality relevant content to drive increase brand visibility, brand love, and brand engagement with our existing consumer base as well as new targeted audiences across Meta, Twitter, Spotify, YouTube, and Snap to achieve specific metric driven results.

Email marketing:
Drive & Elevate email marketing campaign strategy and experience including segmentation, content creation, and tracking performance results.

Integrated Retail brand marketing:
Drive best-in-class strategies that lead the industry in consumer connection, through both digital and in-person activation. Lead channel directives for DTC, e-Commerce, and Retail Partners that elevate storytelling, brand exposure, consumer experience, and market impact.

Innovation and technology: Staying up-to-date with digital marketing, trends, tools and technology is to ensure the company remains competitive and maximize the use of the greatest advancements in the field.


Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or four additional years of experience in lieu of degree
Ten or more years of progressive experience and success in owning, leading, and managing marketing programs.
Proven ability in using metrics for decision making, and strategy development.
Tech-Forward, proven experience working with marketing tools relating to market research, data analytics, website development and product
A palpable passion for skiing and the outdoors, with a deep understanding of the outdoor industry.
