Multi-line Claims Property Adjuster

Midwest Family Mutual Insurance Company is seeking an experienced Multi-line Adjuster. This is an inside desk position. Applicants should have 5 or more years of experience handling Property and Casualty claims with a preferred emphasis in Property adjusting. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, investigating, evaluating and negotiating claim resolutions. Midwest Family is currently writing in multiple jurisdictions.

We are looking for the following qualities:

• A strong working knowledge and understanding of Personal and Commercia IInsurance coverages.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Good analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to negotiate settlement of claims in a timely and reasonable fashion
• Multi-State adjusting experience is a plus.
• College Degree preferred
• Insurance education a plus
• This is a Telework (work from home) desk position and access to high speed internet is required, as well as a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and good keyboarding and technology skills
