The Job

evo is looking for an experienced Compensation & Benefits Analyst to join our growing People Team. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating the administration, execution, and analysis of the full suite of benefits for evo team members. The Compensation & Benefits Analyst researches compensation policies and plans to ensure organization’s offerings are current, and competitive.


What you will do

  • Conduct job evaluations, job leveling, and provide salary recommendations ensuring internal equity and market alignment of total compensation.
  • Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position
  • Maintain and evaluate pay bands as needed.
  • Manage the day-to-day comp requests from HR team
  • Monitors and audits pay practices to ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and wage and hour laws
  • Responsible for the daily administration of all benefit plans, including but not limited to eligibility, enrollment, changes and termination of benefits.
  • Administer all benefit plans consistent with the plans’ documentation and other regulatory and eligibility requirements.
  • Partner with benefit broker and senior leadership team on the overall benefit strategy.
  • Accountable for monitoring employee and benefits census to ensure enrollees are eligible for benefits and are adequately notified of such eligibility and the enrollment process.
  • Oversee the coordination of annual open enrollment planning, communication and roll out between HR, employees and vendors.
  • Manage the coordination of various compliance tests and audits as required.
  • Provide support to HR team, carriers, and employees on all benefit related issues and inquiries.
  • Responsible for monthly reconciliation of benefit enrollments to carrier bills. Works directly with carriers on any billing adjustments as needed.
  • Manage 401(k) plan administration, including auditing and testing, and employee participation and education.
  • Maintain job analyses and classification. Conduct market research to ensure company pay, bonuses and benefits are competitive
  • Manages vendor relationships and may partner with consultants to identify program or process modifications, and to resolve issues that may arise with the benefit plan or its members.
  • Interpret and apply federal and state guidelines, regulations, and laws appropriately (COBRA, HIPPA, FMLA, ADA, ACA, ERISA, and Worker’s Compensation).
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will need

  • 3-5 years experience in HR role with strong analytical skills. Compensation and benefits experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree with an HR emphasis or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Sound knowledge of the Regulatory and Legislative imperatives and impacts related to compensation and benefits programs (FLSA, Sec 125, ERISA, 409A, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Strong grasp of benefits administration, business processes and best practices.
  • Able to prioritize, organize and work on multiple projects in a high volume and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to proactively research and resolve issues through completion.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters sensitively and appropriately..
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite & strong excel skills
  • Knowledge of HRIS/Benefit system
