Illinois College invites applications for a full-time position in Engineering to begin in fall 2023. Candidates should have the ability to teach a variety of Engineering courses including Systems Engineering, Control Systems, Heat and Mass Transfer, and Fluid Dynamics.
This is a new program, an engineering major embedded within a liberal-arts college; therefore, an understanding and appreciation of the environment of a liberal arts college is essential. Strong preference given to candidates with interest and/or experience in program development. Additional duties include contribution to the ongoing development of the engineering programs at the College; student advising and mentoring; and scholarly engagement, including student-faculty research. Position resides within an interdisciplinary department including Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science. This position presents an exciting opportunity for innovation and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
