What You'll Do:

  • Take the lead in Electrical Controls Design for APS equipment, ensuring excellence from the drawing board to field commissioning.
  • Pioneer in PLC and HMI code development, adapting to new applications and ensuring alignment with department standards.
  • Be the frontline in troubleshooting PLC-based control systems, directly at customer sites.
  • Oversee control system testing and commissioning, ensuring seamless integration and top performance.
  • Develop systems tailored for customer satisfaction and collaborate with clients to offer training and service assistance during the commissioning of new systems.
  • Assess and inspect electrical systems, identifying areas for adjustment or repair, ensuring safety and compliance at every step.
  • Play an instrumental role in product development reviews, driving ease of maintenance and minimizing field failures.

 

Qualifications

What Makes You the Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects seamlessly and work autonomously.
  • Proficiency in PLC code writing and troubleshooting, primarily with Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Studio 5000.
  • Experience in Siemens and Rockwell programming software and hardware.
  • Adeptness with PLCs, Industrial Ethernet, Motor Control, SEW VFD Drives, and related equipment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, coupled with expertise in electrical system inspections and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic automation systems.
  • Proven experience with CAD software, particularly EPlan and/or AutoCAD.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • A strong track record of punctuality and attendance.

Your Credentials:

  • A Four-year Engineering Degree, preferably in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in the Industrial Electrical Control domain.

Physical Considerations:

  • This role involves a mix of physical tasks and desk work.
  • Ability to work in varied temperature conditions and physically navigate around machinery setups.
