As the Maintenance & Housekeeping Coordinator, you will oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of Family Wellness property and provide supervision to the housekeeping staff.  This job is located at our Family Wellness facility at 2700 46th Ave SE in Mandan.

• Recruits, hires, trains, schedules and supervises assigned housekeeping staff. Reviews and evaluates performance. Develops strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals. 
• Utilizes facility cleaning checklists to assure that housekeeping staff have clear direction and meet expectations for cleaning in assigned areas of the facility.
• Orders needed supplies, with approval in accordance with the budget.
• Serves as a working supervisor while evaluating building cleanliness continually and making changes to ensure a high qualify standard of cleanliness.
• Helps to maintain safety of patrons and employees by providing a well-maintained and clean environment, following safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains all cleaning equipment and reports repairs or replacement when needed.

Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Occasional Evenings and On-Call Every 3rd Weekend

We are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. 2-3 years of housekeeping and/or maintenance experience preferred. Experience with supervising and training staff preferred. Working knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in the cleaning and maintenance of buildings required. CPR & First Aid Certification and Child Abuse prevention training will be completed within 90 days of hire and are provided. Basic computer skills preferred. Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations required.
