Who Were Looking For

This role will be part of our CREzoning team providing zoning research, analysis, and compliance review reports for a variety of clients that include Law firms, Real Estate Investment Trusts and/or legal counsel, and Lenders.

The individual in this position is responsible for reviewing and analyzing local zoning regulations for the purpose of preparing zoning reports. In this role you will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of Zoning Research Specialists and Zoning Analysts to research, document and prepare zoning reports as part of the commercial real estate due diligence process. You will further serve as a key liaison between clients and internal team members through the project management and sales teams to ensure thorough and accurate delivery of project reports to the client.

How Youll Make an Impact

  • Data Acquisition: Partner with the Zoning Research team to ensure necessary municipality documents have been obtained to inform and support report writing process.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Examine documents for completeness, sufficiency, and conformity to requested documents and data.
    • Prepare reports thoroughly and with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Client Communication: Act as a liaison between clients, project management and sales to ensure timely and thorough delivery of zoning reports.
  • Problem-Solving:
    • Identify and resolve problems and questions in a timely manner offering solutions and/or re-directing to team members as appropriate.
    • Simultaneously operate a variety of computer software and programs.
  • Confidentiality:
    • Deal discreetly with and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive records and information obtained through document research and directly through clients.
    • Maintain and manage confidentiality of records, files, and related documents.



  • Experiencing working in commercial real estate and knowledge of zoning reports a plus
  • 1-2 years experience in service-oriented environment requiring direct customer interaction
  • 1-2 years experience with data acquisition and/or data entry in a role requiring great attention to detail and follow through
  • Strong organizational skills
  • A great work ethic (self-starter) i.e., not afraid to jump in, learn the business and make an impact
  • The ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members both verbally and in writing
  • The ability to prioritize and balance multiple objectives of differing priorities
  • The ability to adapt to updates in technology and process
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite software, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
