About Distance Education:
Distance Education provides an entirely asynchronous, online learning experience that adapts to the unique circumstances of each student. Our fully accredited bachelor's and master's degree programs, as well as non-degree credits, empower learners to shape their own educational journey. The Opportunity:
Unity Environmental University seeks enthusiastic individuals to serve as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support the development of courses in its new Bachelor of Science in Regenerative Hotel Management program. SMEs work closely with the Associate Director of Sustainable Ecotourism and Recreation to advise on and develop curricula. Courses may include Introduction to Regenerative Hotel Management: Challenges and Opportunities and Hotel Operations Management.

Do you have the skills?

• An advanced degree (Master’s minimum) in a field related to Hotel Management, Sustainability, or Tourism.
• Experience in hotel management.
• Ability to apply business-oriented decision-making in a hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of or experience with regenerative hospitality and corporate social responsibility that balances the visitor experience with economic, social, and environmental benefits.
• Familiarity with global tourism trends, including areas of market growth and decline; visitor use trends and expectations; technological advancements in hospitality; and/or green certifications and regulations/laws.
• Knowledge of environmental stewardship and sustainability practices associated with tourism and hospitality.
• Knowledge of economic, social, and environmental impacts of tourism and hospitality.
• Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately.
• Experience with online teaching and/or distance learners is desirable.
• Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the University.

The Location:
Unity Environmental University's Distance Education curriculum is 100% online. Our Distance Education Adjuncts will teach remotely.
