Position Summary:

International Sales Manager

TCM is looking for an energetic sales leader who is experienced in distribution & licensing within the International marketplace.  The ideal candidate will bring deep understanding of current trends and needs in both the Business to Business & Distribution channels.  In addition, the ideal candidate must have a strong, fearless work ethic, proven track record of leadership and success in meeting and exceeding sale goals.  You will be joining a team of strong, successful sales professionals that believe in teamwork, with a large dose of fun & celebration.  This is a job that is all about growing new partnerships and expanding existing business relationships. Creative and innovative thinking is welcomed.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Achieve defined sales objectives.
  • Drive sales opportunities within the assigned territories and accounts. 
  • Develop new business opportunities leveraging network of customers, current client relationships, and prospect leads.
  • Grow in leadership responsibilities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with responsive account management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA required
  • 5+ years in educational sales focusing on licensing and distribution within the international publishing sector.
  • Highly articulate, solid communicator and fast learner.
  • Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Strong business and technical knowledge.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven success as an account executive/sales manager in previous roles.
  • Energetic, self-starter with strong work ethic and excellent track record of success.
  • Experience using
  • Conversant in language other than English, a plus.
  • Frequent travel required via automobile and airplane. 
  • Must have current passport.


Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent travel by airplane and automobile.  
  • Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. when traveling and/ or carrying materials to and from sales meetings and destinations.
  • Repetitive hand and wrist movements for frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.

Location: Remote Home Office

Work Conditions: Home office; frequent traveling.
