EVANGELISM OPERATIONS COORDINATOR ROLE DESCRIPTION

 

The Evangelism Operations Coordinator recruits, equips and leads a volunteer team to provide operations and administrative support for Evangelism events, and uses his/her leadership, logistical, administrative, communication and organizational skills to support the Evangelism Ministries.

Responsibilities

Recruit and Lead a Highly Effective Volunteer Team to Support All Evangelism Events

  • Direct volunteer teams to support logistics for all events and initiatives
  • Coordinate marketing and promotions of events with the Communications Department
  • Oversee effective registration process
  • Build a culture defined by love and unity 
  • Cast vision regularly by sharing testimonies and celebrating wins
  • Update website and app on a regular basis

Coordinate and Manage Logistics to Support Evangelism and the Alpha Course

  • Prepare and implement logistics for the Alpha Course and other Evangelism efforts (Example: Man Mayhem)
  • Direct volunteer teams to assist with execution of the weekly Alpha event that meets after all 3 weekend services (setup, cleanup, food, registration, etc.)
  • Create a warm and relational environment for Alpha guests
  • Serve as the event planner for Alpha Retreats (oversee and execute all logistics)

Coordinate and Manage Logistics to Support Monthly Baptism Services

  • Train and direct all volunteers supporting the event
  • Coordinate with Communications Department to publicize baptism
  • Coordinate with Next Gen to plan and support youth baptisms and classes

Ensure Accurate, Timely Response to Communication Requests (Phone or Email)

  • Manage phone calls, email, voicemail and communication requests in a timely, thorough manner
  • Demonstrate professionalism, discretion and a service-orientation in all interactions

Reconcile Expenses, Oversee Budget and Provide General Support within Connections Department

Perform Other Duties and Tasks as Assigned

  • Attend department and All-Staff meetings
