Position Summary
As IT Support Technician, this person is responsible for the day-to-day support of networked workstations, printers, copiers and faxes and other various equipment. This entails providing end-user and help-desk support of workstation software and hardware as well as proprietary software.

Schedule:
Flexible, may require some evening and weekends

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Perform routine hardware and software maintenance for workstations, printers, faxes and copiers
Perform new installation and upgrades of workstations, printers, faxes and copiers (hardware & software) Perform handling of help-desk support calls by logging, servicing or re-directing calls as necessary
Assist Network Administrator and/or IT Manager with all workstation and other special projects.
Maintain audit and inventory of workstation hardware/software, printers, copiers & faxes
Travel to all company locations to trouble shoot and resolve hardware and software issues
Create and update user profile and network shares on site Domain controller
Run routine maintenance and security checks on all site networks
All other duties as designated by System Administrator, IT Manager, or Executive Director

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
Microsoft Office/Word/Excel/Outlook
Excellent Communication Skills
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Bi-lingual Spanish/English (preferred)
Ability to work as a team player and work independently
Reliable transportation
Must be able to travel from facility to facility
This position requires 10 % travel outside the local area.

Required Education/Experience and/or Licensure/Certification
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Two-year technical degree or equivalent certification/education from vocational school
1-2 years minimum experience in computer technical support
Knowledgeable of computer operating systems and hardware

Network experience preferred

Ability to lift minimum 35 lbs.
Travel up to 75% of the time
Commitment to goals and philosophy of Northeast Community Clinic
Valid State Identification

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
OSHA Category 3 Involves no regular exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, and tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues are not a condition of employment
The work is majority of the time sedentary in nature.
The employee is regularly required to communicate, frequently required to use repetitive motions, move, remain stationary, regularly push, pull and lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds.
Must possess mobility to work in a standard office/clinic setting (in some cases both settings) and to use standard office/clinic equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, read printed materials and use a computer, and communicate in person and over the telephone.
