Minimum requirements:
- 2+ years of experience leading camp or outdoor recreation programming
- Bachelors degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working with youth
- Extensive experience with waterfront activities, strong swimming skills, and highly comfortable in an open waterfront environment
- Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office programs
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in recreation, environmental education, youth development, natural resources, or related field strongly preferred
- History of waterfront lifeguard certification preferred (or prepared to obtain certification required)
- Experience with camp activities, such as archery and target sports, boating, crafts, outdoor cooking, etc.
- Experience with diverse audiences preferred
- Project management experience preferred

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Activities occur both inside and outside and employee is subject to both environmental conditions; however, employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
