BT Family Office, LLC has an opening for an Investment/Reporting Analyst. A successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a small team environment, a strong attention to detail, an energetic and positive attitude. The Analyst will be an integral part of the team and provide diversified administrative, reporting and day-to-day support for multiple clients. Organizational skills, resiliency and flexibility, promptness and the ability to anticipate needs are necessary in all tasks and responsibilities.
Primary responsibilities:
- Support the team in a variety of analytical needs, including the creation and improvement of reports, support of manager due-diligence and ongoing analysis, building and monitoring portals within client reporting software, and documenting various client entity data
- Conduct thorough due diligence on existing and prospective fund investments, including analyzing fund strategy and composition, evaluating performance and attribution, interpreting key fund statistics, and reviewing prospectuses and other fund documents/ updates
- Contribute to regular client investment updates, including quarterly distribution reports, annual financial statements, performance reports, and research updates
- Manage clients’ alternative investments including subscription, capital calls, reporting, tax-prep, and communication
- Participate in the vetting of client wealth advisors, both current and prospective
- Assist in preparing, editing, and organizing investment recommendations and support material for investment oversight reviews
- Contribute to the identification and evaluation of client investment goals and themes that influence asset allocation decisions
- Contribute to research projects on different investment strategies, markets, or client needs
- Support client service and business development teams as needed
- Meet with fund managers, representatives, and investment advisors
- Provide support for client onboarding of assets into reporting software
- Assist in the production and review of presentations, and other deliverables
- Participate in maintenance of portfolio models and tracking
- Assist family Controller with reports as needed
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with a preference for finance
- 1-2 years of previous financial industry experience preferred
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, advanced Excel and data analytic skills preferred
- Addepar experience preferred
- Strong familiarity with, and interest in, investment concepts, equity and fixed income markets and financial markets and models
- An understanding of professional services and client service for high net-worth individuals
- Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable and professional demeanor
- The ability to handle and respond to multiple client demands in a timely manner
- The ability to prioritize assignments and effectively manage their time
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey complex ideas and solutions
- Strategic and analytical thinker with quantitative and analytical skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to multi-task
- Willingness to work productively and cross-functionally as part of a small team
