Western Consolidated Technologies currently has an immediate opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as an CNC Operator. Successful candidates will be self-starters, reliable, dependable, well-organized, demonstrate on time attendance, and who can work assigned hours and overtime as needed.
General Description:
In the Industrial establishment, this employee will set-up and operate computer-controlled machines.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Follow instructions as trained.
- Make sure calibration stickers are up to date on any measuring devices or equipment used.
- Completes required documentation in a neat and timely manner.
- Keeps work area, machines, and tooling clean to WCT standards. Some light maintenance tasks on machinery as required.
- Performs offset changes to meet print specifications.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand prints.
- Ability to apply basic mathematics, basic algebra and geometry.
- Safely sets up and operates machine, which includes loading and unloading materials in machine.
- Able to use measuring instruments to meet print specifications.
- Use of Proper PPE as required by WCT Policy.
- Maintain good attendance and able to work weekends as needed.
- Complies with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening.

Education / Experience
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
